We have had the privilege of manufacturing these amazing dishes under our own brand, and on behalf of some of the UK’s finest jewellers for many years. The ‘Drakes Dish’ also known as an Armada Dish, or an Alms Dish, is a reproduction of a set of silver dishes seized from Spanish/Portuguese treasure ships throughout the Spanish Armada in 1588. The dishes are incredibly popular gifts for presentations and special occasions. The dishes are often engraved, and inscriptions are applied on the flat outer edge of the piece. We manufacture the dish in 8 varying diameters, and every piece is supplied in one of our signature gift boxes. To prevent the silver from tarnishing we recommend cleaning with silver polish and a soft cloth – or for ease, clean with an impregnated silver cloth.
