Description
We celebrate the most definitively Scottish of all articles in our hallmarked silver Quaich. The name is derived from the Gaelic ‘Cuach’ cup, and was primarily used as a highland drinking vessel. We have had the pleasure of hand making Quaich bowls for generations. With a beautiful plain handle, Edinburgh Assay hallmarks and expert mirror polishing, these beautiful pieces are made in 4 varying diameters. These items make the perfect presentation gift, or, a gift for a very special occasions in someone’s life. The heavy sterling silver used to make the Quaich bowls makes them ideal for engraving, and they are presented in our signature gift boxes. For maintenance purposes, the piece should be washed in hot soapy water straight after use, and cleaned with a soft cloth. To prevent the silver from tarnishing, use an impregnated silver cloth, or alternatively a recommended silver polish with a soft cloth.
